Employment matters, Title VII claims, ADA claims, sexual harassment and hostile environment claims, as well as civil rights litigation, are some of the most rapidly changing and challenging areas of litigation practice. Several of the Firm's shareholders have extensive experience in these complex areas. Cities, counties and other governmental bodies are being bombarded by a flood of litigation from developers, citizens, and in some cases, by their own employees. Several Firm members have devoted much of their practice to the defense of governmental entities. Several shareholders have considerable experience in the handling of law enforcement liability claims, constitutional law claims, all forms of employment discrimination and termination matters, Title VII claims, equal protection and due process claims, land use litigation and a host of other matters. They also have experience in a broad spectrum of sovereign immunity matters, as well as more typical governmental claims such as premises liability, vehicular accidents and false arrest matters.
