Veronica Lee Harvey graduated cum laude from Indiana University in 1989 with a Bachelor in General Studies, majoring in History and Criminal Justice.
Ms. Harvey was employed as a tax accountant for 23 years. In addition, she has a background in the construction and trucking industries. Ms. Harvey also attended the Criminal Justice Academy and has been certified by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement as a Law Enforcement Officer. She is a former Orlando Police officer.
Ms. Harvey attended North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina, where she was awarded her Juris Doctor in May of 1996. She served as librarian for Phi Delta Phi during her attendance in law school. Ms. Harvey practiced civil law in North Carolina with an emphasis on corporate and tax law and family law matters. Since 1998 she has practiced civil defense work, specializing in construction defect claims.
Ms. Harvey is also a certified Circuit Court Mediator in the state of Florida. She has an extensive background in construction litigation, and personal injury litigation. She is available for mediation by contacting her office.
Ms. Harvey is a member of The American Bar Association, The Florida Bar Association, The Orange County Bar Association, Florida Defense Lawyers Association, the Middle District of Florida, and The Florida Association of Police Attorneys, Inc. She is licensed to practice in Florida and North Carolina and was a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, The Durham County Bar, The Family Law Bar, and The 14th Judicial Circuit Bar Association.
Ms. Harvey has one child, a son, William, who resides in Mesa, AZ. She currently resides in Lake Mary, Florida. Her interests include golf, defensive pistol shooting, scuba diving, and music.
