Teresa Albanese Silver attended high school in Carmel, New York and continued her education at the State University of New York at Binghamton. She graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in the dual majors of Philosophy, Politics & Law and Italian. After graduating from college, she attended New York Law School, where she was awarded her Juris Doctor degree in 1997.
Ms. Silver became licensed to practice law in New York in 1998, and began her professional legal career in New York City, focusing on personal injury law. She was also admitted to the Florida Bar and relocated to the Orlando area in 1999. Since that time, she has practiced insurance defense litigation.
She is a member of the Florida Bar, the New York Bar, and the Orange County Bar Association, and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She is licensed to practice law in New York and Florida.
She resides in Longwood, Florida with her husband, Mitchell, and daughter, Laura.
