Atheseus R. Lockhart served in the United States Navy for 13 years. While in the Navy, Mr. Lockhart received numerous awards and accolades for his performance as a personnel administrator. While on active duty, Mr. Lockhart attended Columbia College. He attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration with a dual emphasis in Management and Financial Services in 2000. In 2003, Mr. Lockhart received his Juris Doctorate from Florida State University College of Law. While at Florida State, Mr. Lockhart interned at with the Office of the Attorney General, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation and the Children’s Advocacy Center at the College of Law.

Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Lockhart was an Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit. While an Assistant State Attorney, Mr. Lockhart was a felony prosecutor in Osceola County. After gaining valuable trial experience, Mr. Lockhart transitioned to civil litigation. He has defended a wide variety of corporations and businessmen in cases involving commercial litigation, personal injury, premises liability and insurance defense issues to include bad faith, errors and omissions and uninsured motorist coverage.

Mr. Lockhart is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, National Bar and the Florida Bar and actively participates in the Guardian Ad Litem and Orange County Teen Court programs.

In addition to the practice of law, Mr. Lockhart enjoys reading, sports and spending time with his family.
